Tumblemore’s Sensory Class invites little ones to discover the world through play that engages different senses. Colours, textures, shapes, and sounds create opportunities to touch, observe, experiment, and explore something new in an enjoyable way.
Through activities such as exploring textures, transferring objects, filling, and pouring, children have opportunities to practise hand-eye coordination, use fine motor skills, and follow their curiosity. Themes and materials may vary between sessions according to the age group and class objectives.
Not every child feels comfortable with a new texture or experience straight away, and that is okay. Little ones can observe first, take small steps, or repeat an activity that interests them. We make room for exploration without expecting a particular finished creation.
Sensory Class also gives parents or accompanying adults a chance to notice their child’s interests and responses. From a first curious touch to a surprised expression, each session offers simple moments of discovery to enjoy together.
Participants must meet the age range stated for the selected class. Attendance requirements and the number of accompanying adults follow the booking details. Where accompaniment is required, a parent or adult caregiver must remain with the child and help supervise the use of materials throughout the activity.
Choose comfortable clothing that can get wet or messy. Bringing a change of clothes, a small towel, and your child’s personal essentials is recommended. Any additional items required will be communicated before the class.
Please disclose relevant allergies, skin sensitivities, or other conditions before participating. Parents or guardians may ask about the materials before booking. Activity materials must not be eaten or placed in the mouth unless the instructor expressly identifies them as suitable for that activity. We cannot guarantee that all materials and areas are free from allergens or cross-contact.
Follow the instructor’s guidance when using materials and equipment. Children should not be pressured to touch materials that make them uncomfortable. Tell the instructor if discomfort occurs so the activity can be stopped or adjusted. If your child is unwell or has potentially contagious symptoms, contact us before attending.
A place is confirmed once payment requirements have been met and official confirmation has been issued. Payments are non-refundable for participant cancellations or non-attendance, subject to the exceptions and consumer rights described in Tumblemore’s Cancellation and Refund Policy. Rescheduling depends on availability and is valid only after written approval.
